Wash Day W/ Dollar Tree Products!!

Coily’s have you ever been in your local dollar store (if you have one in your part of the world) and realized that they sold hair products….for $1!!!

It seems crazy. Like, how good could these products be for only a buck?

Then again, if these products didn’t sell I doubt the store would keep restocking them, right?

Well my curiosity got the best of me so I picked up two products to try out.

Now I didn’t want to go overboard and have my hair falling out in clumps so I kept it basic with just a shampoo and conditioner.

Both are from a line called Lusti.

I personally have never heard of this product line before but my friend assured me they have been around for a very long time.

OLIVE OIL MOISTURIZING SHAMPOO

-I hated this shampoo. I did not find it moisturizing in the slightest. My hair felt very crunchy and didn’t seem to be getting clean at all. I had to use a good amount of product to get it to lather. My hair even became a tangled mess. Honestly, the only good thing I can say about this shampoo is that it has a pleasant smell.

ARGAN OIL 4-N-1 LEAVE IN CONDITIONER

-I was really surprised with this conditioner. It has a lot of slip and was a pretty good detangler. It softened up the crunchiness that the shampoo caused too. It’s not as creamy as I prefer my conditioners but not bad at all. My curls were defined and bouncy and it smells really good. The only bad thing I could say about it is that I had to use half the bottle. But still worth the $1 I paid for it.

I gave it a few days before writing this, just to be sure my hair didn’t fall out like crazy. I honestly was very nervous I would have patches in my head or something along those lines!

I am happy to announce that my strands are still in tacked, lol.
